KAROO BIKING IN GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN
The Karoo found its way to the lush Bavarian mountain resort of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Naturally, that was for the BMW Motorrad Days 2008, an annual gathering of biker aficionados hosted by BMW Motorrad and the biggest party of its kind in the world.
As an official BMW Motorrad Travel Partner, Karoo Biking was the only South African company invited to take an exhibition stand at the show which saw some 34,000 visitors from all over Europe and even further abroad. The professionally organised gathering included a host of activities for the enthusiasts including the chance to pit their skills against the X-Track on a BMW G 450 X.
While taking a browse of the latest BMW gear and admiring the latest line-up of bikes, fans were treated to amazing displays by talented professionals such as world champion stunt-rider, Christian Pfeiffer who wowed audiences with daredevil alacrity.
