TAKE A RIDE ON THE WILD SIDE WITH OUR NEW CAPE TOWN – JOBURG TOUR

Karoo Biking’s Cape Town – Johannesburg tour just got wilder… if not better! The new route includes the best of the best from the original. And now, also boasts a visit into the world famous Kruger National Park, home to South Africa’s famed big five as well as myriad antelope, hippo, giraffe and zebra.

The last two nights of the tour will be comfortably spent in Hazyview, situated in the North Mpumalanga Province. The quaint town is flanked by the Kruger National Park making it the perfect spot for day safaris. With daybreak on the horizon, we’ll depart to explore the highveld in 4×4’s by Africa’s earliest light. With the wind in our hair and daybreak on the horizon, we’ll cross the border into the park, brimming with its bountiful fauna and flora.

Early afternoon we’ll make our way back, hopefully satisfied at having spotted lion, elephant, rhinoceros, buffalo and leopard. You’re welcome either to enjoy an afternoon siesta or join us on your bike to ride what is affectionately referred to as the Panorama Route. Here we’ll get to see the famed little village of Pilgrim’s Rest, the three rondawels, Blyde River Canyon and God’s Window – landscapes it’s said, all sculpted by the hand of God.

The detailed route plan for the new tour is as follows: Cape Town, Montagu, Prince Albert, Uniondale, Grahamstown, Port St Johns, Durban, Bergville, Pongola, Swaziland, Hazyview and finally, the city of gold, today called Johannesburg.
